Fire Truck
Airports Vanuatu Limited is expanding emergency readiness at Tanna, Santo, and Port Vila airports with the addition of two advanced fire trucks.
Scheduled for delivery in 2026, these vehicles will provide modern firefighting capabilities and support safer airport operations for passengers and staff.
As part of its aircraft rescue and firefighting (ACFF) capability upgrade, Airports Vanuatu Limited (AVL) is getting two new fire truck for the country’s three airports which is Tanna Airport, and Santo Airport. The fire truck is currently under manufacture, as part of a major safety improvement for these airports. Each truck will have the AVL logo and the names of the three airports printed on each fire truck.
The trucks will come with all the tools and equipment needed to respond to emergencies. They are expected to arrive later this year.
