Response Vehicle
As part of the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) capability, Airports Vanuatu Limited has approved the procurement of a new emergency response vehicle to respond to any incidents at the airport. The ARFF team is working closely with the manufacturer during the design and production process, providing detailed specifications and operational requirements to ensure the vehicle is fully equipped for airport emergencies.
This collaboration will ensure that all necessary equipment, fittings, and safety features are included. Additionally, maintaining accurate documentation of the vehicle’s components and specifications will allow the team to order replacement parts directly from the manufacturer in the event of damage, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operational readiness.
