Reconfiguring Terminal Facilities
Airports Vanuatu Limited is planning upgrades to the international terminal at Port Vila International Airport to improve passenger flow and overall experience.
Renovation efforts are scheduled for 2026, focusing on arrivals, departures, and VIP facilities. These improvements aim to create a more efficient and comfortable environment for all travelers.
As part of the ongoing development of the international airport terminal, Port Vila International Airport will do a reconfiguration to its international terminal facilities and infrastructure for both arrivals and departures including VIP lounges.
The renovation will be carried out by builders from Singapore, with materials and equipment shipped from overseas. The project is scheduled to commence in May 2026 and it expected to take approximately six months to complete. These improvements to both the arrivals and departures terminals will significantly enhance overall passenger and visitor experience at Port Vila International Airport.
